Level Layout

When creating the in-engine level layout, the original plan was to follow the original level plans that i created in the planning phase. During development R.P had the job of putting the level together while we was all working on creating assets - after letting R.P create the level i came into the studio to see its progress, when i first saw the level it was far, far too large.

Due to R.P spending a lot of time on the level and i felt bad with making him change the work he did i asked if he could send me the level file so i could re-arrange the level and also fix a build error. I removed 50% of the level and re-arranged some assets to match the level plan better. Myself and R.P spent time populating the environment to make sure there was not much negative space - once we thought the level was done i approached W.P with the idea of creating a hospital building in the distance we add more depth outside, he ;liked the idea but was worried about the time left for the project, i came up with a plan to make it in about an hour and W.P approved this request and it turned out to be an amazing addition to the level.
