Grass, Log, Log Platform & Log Barrier

For the town level I had to make some grass that was the same height as the grass on the houses so that it can be tiled, to do this I measured the height, and used the same colour as the grass on the houses and created a rectangle. Shown below.

After I then shaded it to give it depth and it give it more detail so it did not look so flat. The finished asset can be seen in the slideshow at the bottom.

For the forest level we needed an obstacle so I created a log, first I created a dark brown, for the closest end of the log. Shown below.

I then created a second circle in a lighter brown and moved it behind the other circle and connected them, as shown below.

I then created another circle that was a lighter shade that was inside the first circle, this is meant to be the inside of the log with the darker brown being the outside. Shown below.

Finally, I added shading to the log to give it depth so it was not flat and had more detail, for the final asset see the slideshow at the bottom.

The forest level also needed a platform for the player to jump on so I created the log platform. To do this I created a brown rectangle. Shown below.

I then created a green rectangle for the vines that hold up the log platform, I rotated it so it was as an angle and moved it to one side, I then repeated this for the other side. Shown below.

Finally, I added shading to the asset to give it more detail and depth, the final asset can be seen in the slideshow below.

For the log barrier I created another log that I then put on the log platform to force the player to slide under it. For the finished asset see the slideshow below.
